Foundations for the Sport of Search and

SAR is a sport any dog can do!

Started Nov 10
160 US dollars
East 44th Street

Service Description

The foundations for the sport were designed to transfer to real SAR, in the field. This is an international sport governed by the FCI and the International Search and Rescue Dog organization (IRO). We will build hunt drive for human 'victims', discuss and work on the necessary obedience required, and also work on the dexterity requirements for RH 1 (the first level) as what we need to be looking for in the future levels. This is a great sport for high-drive, people friendly dogs. This is a great opportunity to play games with your dogs outside, eve on the hottest days, and fully expend their mental and physical needs in a short time. Based on how much interest we receive for this class we will offer additional classes, or offer Ono on one training for those who wish to continue. Class begins November 10th at 6 pm. Class will continue for 5 weeks (Skipping the Monday following Thanksgiving). Cost is $160
