Summer Adventure Club
Fun morning adventures for our dogs (and us!)
Service Description
Weekday morning field trips and training adventures for dogs and their people. We’ll explore local lakes and creeks, play engagement and recall games, introduce scent challenges and geocaching-style searches, and build confident, capable dogs through real-world experiences. Dogs must be dog-dog neutral or friendly, as well as friendly and safe around humans. We will meet weekly at locations largely southeast of Tucson. We will limit this program to 5 dog/handler teams. If we get more interest, we will add an additional day and more teams. This is for the month of June and the dates will be as follows: Tuesdays - 2,9,14,23, 30. (weather permitting) We will be going to a State Park Lake - so you must either have a valid States Park Pass or $20 to cover entry. We will also be doing some minor hikes - nothing ridiculous - so be prepared for that possibility. While we will certainly be doing some training, these will not be formal training classes. We want you and your dog to enjoy some fun adventures and enjoy your summer. Cost for June is $225 * Gold Program Students receive first priority, but no discount. To Avoid computer reminders that will be incorrect - this class will only show as one week long. We will determine time and place on an ongoing basis depending on your preferences. Our first meet up will the Gabe Zimmerman Trailhead of the Arizona Trail. Bring high value treats and your dog's favorite toy. We will meet at 7:30 am
